Description
Factory strut links on the Vanderhall Carmel and Venice already come with monoball equipped, however there is a flaw.
The bearings fail prematurely and there is a lack of articulation / misalignment, which further accelerates the wear and tear.
The links are very beefy, however it does not allow any length adjustment, which can add unwanted preload to your suspension if you are lowered.
Here is where our strut links can help.
For starters, just like our other components we start with the Industry leading highest grade Aurora Bearing, and we oversized it.
Why? Because we designed these parts to be the last time you should have to buy them. High misalignment spacers are included, so you can re-use the factory bolts.
The rod end's Ultimate Radial Static Load Capacity is 14,755 lbs each!
Rod ends feature a bonded PTFE liner, which self lubricates and does not require maintenance.
The Rod ends are fine thread to allow smaller adjustments and increase shear load.
Our strut links are also 1/4" shorter then factory links to allow for proper adjustment for different suspension setups to allow proper preload to your coilovers.
The main body is also precision CNC machined locally here to allow a satisfyingly smooth thread engagement.
For factory ride height: We recommend setting the length similar to the factory links.
For lowered ride height: You may need to shorten the length from the factory length (center of hole to center of hole)
