Description
In RWD configuration for the L15 engine, the coolant housing outlet points directly at the brake booster, and does not allow any room for coolant routing.
The OEM coolant housing is also very bulky and prevents the engine from sitting closer to the firewall.
Our billet coolant housing saves nearly 2.75" of depth, which allows the engine to sit further back, and allows the shifter to sit nearly same spot as the OEM.
The coolant housing routes the inlet and outlet to the passenger side and uses the OEM L15 thermostat and cover.
The coolant housing features factory temp sensor port, an auxiliary 1/8 NPT port, 4AN ORB port for a bleed port or breather for a swirl pot. It will come with a 4AN ORB Plug.
Two 10AN ORB ports are there for easy heater core line routing with our silicone hoses, or it can be plugged.
