Description

The TF-Works Billet brake duct kit was developed to keep your brakes cool out on track!
This will work with all years GR Corolla.

We designed a kit that can be installed under an hour without having to remove anything other than your brake caliper and oem caliper bracket.  No need to remove your under panel, bumper, axle or the wheel hub!
You only need to trim or persuade (with a hammer) the dust shield where the duct will feed the air to your brake rotor.

The main component of our kit is a billet 7075 aluminum brake caliper bracket with integrated air duct.
7075 aluminum was chosen for our bracket as it offers a much higher mechanical strength over 6061.

Our bracket is 55% lighter than the OEM steel bracket!  1.1lbs vs 2.4lbs each.
Shedding unsprung mass is what many professional race teams strive for to improve a car's handling.
Our bracket is also designed with nearly 25% more material around the bridge to increase rigidity over the OEM steel bracket.

After scanning the components in the wheel well, we designed an air duct that mounts directly to the bottom of your front control arm.  This air duct feeds free air from under the car through a snorkel, which fits through an oem hole on the control arm and into the 2 inch double layer high temp silicone brake hose.  The hose is then connected to our billet 7075 aluminum bracket.

Our air duct is 3D printed in PET-CF filament, which is a blend of carbon fiber and PET.
PET-CF has excellent high temperature resistance and carbon fiber improves mechanical strength, which is why we chose it for load-bearing prints surrounded by high temperature environment.

The duct will come with an enlarged frontal area air scoop as well as a block off plate which can be easily swapped by loosening two 10mm bolts.  We do recommend removing the scoop if you drive in areas with heavy snow to prevent any potential damage.

The entire kit was designed around 18x10.5 +24 wheels with 265/35/18 tires to ensure clearance.  This wheel and tire setup was approximately 1/2" away from the coilovers, and the air scoop had approximately 3/4" clearance inside the wheel.
After a full day of testing on track - the brakes had no issues staying well within the temp range of the Carbotech XP12s our test car was running during 20 minute sessions.
There were zero signs of any interference with the wheel and tire to our brake duct kit.

We also drove the car for several hundred miles in the Chicago winter to ensure durability.  We recommend removing the air scoops in deep snow for better clearance.
