The factory BMW M3 rear upper arms (camber and guide rod) feature a sealed spherical bearing at the subframe side but retain a rubber bushing on the knuckle side, introducing unwanted flex and inconsistent kinematics under load.
Kinematic Designs tapered washer allows for spherical bearing conversion by allowing you to retrofit an OEM-style sealed spherical bearing into the knuckle side of these arms, delivering consistent, flex-free kinematics without sacrificing long-term durability.
This kit includes our precision-machined stainless steel tapered seat washers, designed to perfectly replicate the seating geometry of the factory rubber bushing—ensuring proper fitment and motion control.
Paired with MEYLE 314710005 sealed bearings (sold separately), this conversion creates a fully spherical OEM-style solution without the drawbacks of polyurethane or rubber bushings.
