M14 Super Adjustable Inner Tie Rod - Short Tie Rod

Introducing the ultimate suspension upgrade for your GRIP 350Z, combining both the 350Z Lateral Link and Compression Rod together make up our ultimate GRIP FLCA!

Lateral Link (FLCA)
The GKTECH 350Z Lateral Link is a direct OEM replacement, retaining the two-piece lower control arm design. These arms are ideal for all forms of grip racing, circuit racing, and time attack. The two-piece arm design allows for better bump steer control, resulting in a more consistent alignment while also improving camber gain when turning which maximizes front-end grip by allowing for a flatter contact patch.

Our arms offer the added benefit of high misalignment PTFE-lined spherical bearings for smooth operation and reduced bushing flex, ensuring consistent alignments. They are adjustable from -0.19' (5mm) to +1.37 (35mm) relative to the OEM length and have multiple mounting locations for the swaybar to adjust the roll bar rate.

Features:

  • Laser cut and CNC machined from 0.78' (20mm) thick 4130 Chromoly steel
  • CMM measured, CAD designed, and FEA tested
  • Lubrication-free PTFE-lined rod ends and spherical bearings
  • Adjustable from -0.19' (5mm) to +1.37 (35mm) in length relative to OEM
  • Adjustable sway bar roll rate
  • Durable black e-coating

Compression Rod
The GKTECH 350Z Compression Rod is a direct OEM replacement, retaining the two-piece lower control arm design. These rods are ideal for all forms of grip racing, circuit racing, and time attack.

They are adjustable from -0.19' (5mm) to +1.18' (30mm) relative to the OEM length. The kit includes two polyurethane bushes to ensure the arm returns to the center as required when the OEM rubber bushes are deleted through the use of this arm.

Features:

  • Laser cut and CNC machined from 0.94' (24mm) thick 4130 Chromoly steel
  • CMM measured, CAD designed, and FEA tested
  • Lubrication-free PTFE-lined rod ends and spherical bearings
  • Adjustable from -0.19' (5mm) to +1.18' (30mm) in length relative to OEM
  • Durable black e-coating
  • Polyurethane bushes to retain the arm in the optimal position

Inner Tie Rod Ends
We have developed an OEM replacement inner tie rod with more adjustment than any other tie rod available. After setting up our own cars we quickly discovered that there are a heap of factors that determine the tie rod length required such as whether you are running rack spacers or not, the knuckles that you're running and then the length of your LCA.

If you plan on adjusting your lower control arms over the OEM length then you would need the inner tie rod ends listed.

Features:

  • Short tie rod adjustable from 2.59' (66mm) minimum length through to 9.84' (250mm)(7.20' (183mm) of adjustment)
  • M14 in size for increased strength over M12 setups
  • Rod is manufactured from HRC 25-28 Steel with PTFE (Teflon) lined maintenance free bearing
  • 50 degrees range of motion (25 degrees misalignment)
  • Sold as a PAIR to suit the FLCAs

FAQS

How hard are these to fit?
They are quite easy to install but mechanical knowledge is required and recommended. We also include an assembly guide on most product pages, that can be seen above. You are also welcome to get in touch if you need help. But apart from that, remove your standard LCA's and compression rods and the LCA's will bolt straight in.

Do I need to do any other modifications to get the most from these LCA's?
You can bolt them in as they are, however, you would only increase your track and caster angle. Ideally you would get these alongside our inner tie rod ends to compensate for the length added.

Will these fit my car?
We can only confirm fitment for the vehicles listed above under confirmed fitment.

What happens if a bearing needs to be replaced?
They are common sized bearings, which can be found at any local bearing supplier.

The lateral link uses a PCML12TES
The compression rod uses a PCML13TES

How long is the warranty on these arms?
All GKTECH suspension arms come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects. The PTFE lined rose/ heim joints come with a 1 year replacement warranty and as mentioned, they are a common size which can be found at any local bearing supplier, or we do keep them on the shelf!

Are these suspension arms legal for use on street cars?
Our understanding is that any suspension arm with a rose joint is not legal for street use in Australia. However, we do recommend that you contact your local RTA for clarification/confirmation. Whether you use a suspension arm with a rose joint on public roads is at your discretion.

Are there any special tools required?
No, a wrench set will do the job which we do sell separately here - Open ended wrenches
