Motul Adds RBF 700 to Their Current Brake Fluid Line Up
15th Oct 2024
Most of us have been using Motul RBF 600 Dot 4 brake fluid for most racing applications, whether it's for Time Attack, endurance, HPDE, Auto-X or even Drifting. Many of us have even used the RBF 600 in the daily driver, I mean why not.
Just because Motul offers a RBF 700, doesn't mean you need it for your application. For instance, you won't need it for drifting or Auto-X, so save your money. If you are doing HPDE to Time Attack, you will want the highest boiling point fluid there is to ensure you will have all of your brakes at the end of that straight away. Last thing you'd want is to get brake fade and not be able to stop.
Motul RBF 600 Dry boiling point: 312°C / 594°F
Motul RBF 660 Dry boiling point: 325°C / 617°F
Motul RBF 700 Dry boiling point: 336°C / 637°F
