The performance of LSD varies greatly depending on the oil used.
Inappropriate oils may cause abnormal operation during break-in and shakedown, and may cause abnormal noise and diff lock performance during use. In such cases, it is not possible to determine whether the cause of the trouble is LSD or oil, and it is also difficult to give advice on countermeasures.
After repeated tests, the "Carbon LSD dedicated gear oil" has been developed to maximize the performance of Carbon LSD.
This oil is recommended for cars that tend to increase oil temperatures such as the Z33/34, front & rear of high power GT-R, AP1/2, NA6, GC8, GDB, and other vehicles that require less oil exhaust protection.
It greatly improves the heat resistance, making it perfect for running in high summer temperatures.
