The AMS Performance 2022+ Subaru WRX Front Mount Intercooler provides exceptional heat transfer efficiency due to its superior engineering, materials, and construction. Utilizing an industry-leading, highly efficient 4″ thick AMS intercooler core as standard, which was chosen based on our decades of motorsports experience spent optimizing turbocharged applications. This kit comes complete with massive 3″ intercooler piping, custom silicone couplers with ID matched connections, as well as CNC billet connection flanges, and high quality hose clamps and hardware to ensure a precise fit.
In addition, we relocated a number of OEM features to retain functionality while improving performance. Tow hook mount integrated into FMIC mounting bracket to retain use of the tow hook, ambient air temperature sensor relocated for improved temperature readings, and windshield washer fluid filler neck relocated for easier installation and improved functionality. With a 347% increase in core volume compared to the factory top mount, higher volume aluminum end tanks, and TIG welded by hand in the USA, the 2022+ WRX Front Mount Intercooler core sets the standard in thermal management for the FA24 engine.
