We are excited to release our S13.4 Hybrid valve cover for your S13 SR20DET!
This is a complete OEM style valve cover, which allows you to use all of the same gaskets and hardware from the S13 SR.
No more sending in your valve covers to get cut and welded.
Why?
It is getting difficult to source SR20DET valve covers. Nissan discontinued them, and used S14 SR valve covers are selling for $400 and as high s $800 USD for used ones.
S13 SR20DET valve covers are prone to excessive oil to pass through once you start going higher boost levels.
The S14 SR20DET Valve cover has an improved baffle design, which separates the oil return and the intake inlet port. Overall volume of the S14 valve cover is increased as well.
S14 SR Vavle cover will not bolt up directly to the S13 SR20DET as the VTC hump is present. Hybrid valve cover integrates S13 front with the S14 rear design.
Our valve cover is based on Japanese Industrial Standards (JIS) for aluminum alloys. ADC12.
ADC12 has low density making them lightweight compared to other metals. It also features good mechanical properties such as strength and hardness, which is why it is widely use by aerospace and automotive industries.
This alloy also has good thermal conductivity, enabling efficient heat dissipation.
Note: If you are re-using your old OEM oil cap, please check to make sure O-ring is in good shape, otherwise you may have some oil seeping around the cap.

***First 20 Pre-Orders will include a free billet aluminum oil cap. Our billet aluminum oil cap is an OEM style cap with raised ears for better grip.
Viton O-ring ensures a tight seal, and a pass through hole up top allows you to use a screw driver or a bolt for extra leverage.
On the inside of the oil cap features a 10mm socket, if you are in a tight pinch and need one.
