Nismo thermostat opens at 65°C, whereas the OEM thermostat opens at 75.6°C.
The benefit of this is for engines that tend to run hot, or cars that are driven in locations where the weather is consistently hot.
It allows the thermostat to open sooner allowing the radiator to start doing its job before it is too late.
*Beware of knock off thermostats, which may not function same as a genuine Nismo.
