Description
The GKTech F8X M2/M3/M4 Front Tension Rod spherical bearing replacements are designed to replace the factory OEM rubber bushings. OEM rubber busheings are designed to absorb road noise but that comes at the cost of performance. It's common for upgrades to be made of a harder rubber or a polyurethane but rather than a polyurethane or rubber bushings we have chosen to use a spherical bearing to significanty reduce bushing deflection and ensure a much smoother operation throughout the range of suspension travel.
We have chosen to use a common (COM16T) spherical bearing which is PTFE lined and self lubricating for increased longevity. Simply press out the OEM bush and press the replacement unit in it's place.

Is there anything else needed for installation?
There is not. Simply remove the OEM bush and press this complete unit in its place.
Can I install this myself? If so how long will installation take?
Yes, provided you have general mechanical knowledge and a press, installation is relitively straightforward. Installation time should be around 60-90 minutes. However, being a suspension component we recommend only a trained professional to install this product
